LACOSTA is looking for an experienced Floor Technician to join our team in Shelbyville, TN! This position will focus on maintaining an outstanding appearance and cleanliness level to all types of flooring throughout the facility.

***We conduct a background check and drug testing***  

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week   

• Shift: 11:00PM-7:30AM

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)  

• $16/hr

Job Duties:  

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS FLOOR CARE EXPERIENCE. This includes operation of a variety of floor cleaning equipment. Floor techs must keep all floors looking pristine throughout the facility, and may also be participating in general cleaning tasks as necessary.    

• Floor Care 
• • Stripping
  • Buffing
  • Waxing
  • Sweeping/Mopping
  • Vacuuming
  • Carpet spot removal 
• General Cleaning
• • Restroom cleaning
  • Office/breakroom/warehouse cleaning
  • Any additional requested cleaning
• Stocking supply rooms
• Special cleaning tasks

Requirements:  

• Pass background check and drug screening
• MUST have experience operating floor care equipment
• Must comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
• Must wear LACOSTA provided uniform and PPE, as well as your own steel-toed shoes/boots while working.
• Remove all jewelry and accessories.
