Early Morning Cleaner | Chesapeake  

Shift: Monday-Friday 4hrs between 9:30pm-8:30am (overnight)  

This schedule requires 4 hrs. The schedule is adjustable as long as it's done between 9pm-8am  

General Purpose:  

Ensuring the accurate and timely cleaning of medical facility. You will need a clean background check and drug screen, PPD and flu shot.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Collection and disposal of trash (small and large cans).
• Taking trash out to the dumpster
• Cleaning glass entry ways
• Sweeping entry ways
• Cleaning and sanitizing sinks, toilets and urinals
• Restroom cleaning, restocking and replenishing
• Cleaning and filling dispensers, towels, toilet paper, and sanitizers
• Cleaning mirrors
• Cleaning partitions and enclosures
• Sweeping, damp mopping and sanitizing floors
• Cleaning light covers
• Sweeping, damp mopping and sanitizing breakrooms
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces in break room areas
• Wiping walls and ceilings
• Dusting ceiling vents
• Keeping porter closets clean and prepped at the end of the shift
• Office area cleaning.
• Ensures timely completion of assigned cleaning area(s) according to schedule.
• Follows safety guidelines, quality standards, and ensures customer service expectations are met.
• Performs other janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications/Education/Work Experience:  

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to job location.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:  

• Position requires bending, twisting, lifting (up to 25 pounds), stretching, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time.
