Lead Support Cleaner (sub cleaner, trainer/assistant)

Schedule: 2nd Shift 

Job Type: Full-Time 

Pay: $18.50/hour 

Location: serving Muskegon Public Schools, Muskegon, MI

Paid travel between work sites and mileage

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is passionate about helping others succeed. As a Lead Support Cleaner, you'll travel between assigned customer sites to support cleaning teams and help ensure daily operations run smoothly. 

What You’ll Do:

As a Sub Cleaner:

• Travel between assigned sites to support cleaning teams
• Performing routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
• Using cleaning equipment such as backpack vacuums and floor scrubbers (training provided)
• Follow site-specific procedures to keep facilities clean, safe, and ready for use

As a Trainer/Assistant:

• Train and support new employees
• Assisting with quality inspections and helping maintain cleaning standards
• Working alongside the Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure accounts are operating efficiently
• May assist with supply management, customer requests, special projects, and troubleshooting operational needs as they arise

Who We’re Looking For

• Able to adapt to different worksites and changing priorities
• Flexibility to adjust shift start times based on customer needs; during the summer, the majority of work is on day shift
• Cleaning experience is a plus
• Requires valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation (paid mileage and drive time)
