aber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter to our team at a manufacturing facility near the East Whitcomb Avenue corridor in Madison Heights. This is an active, visible position for someone who enjoys staying busy and takes pride in helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional workplace.

This position offers a flexible start time, providing added flexibility while still playing an important role in the facility’s daily operations. We are looking for someone who is attentive, reliable, and able to respond to cleaning needs throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Sweep, mop, and respond promptly to spills or immediate cleaning needs
• Monitor high-traffic areas and address cleaning needs throughout the shift
• Communicate facility, supply, or service concerns to management

Requirements

• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Ability to work professionally in an active manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine physical custodial tasks

Pay: $15 - $16 per hour
