We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Floor Technician/Waxer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in floor care and maintenance, with a focus on waxing and polishing various types of flooring surfaces. As a Floor Technician/Waxer, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of floors in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
1. Perform waxing, stripping, buffing, and polishing of floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.
2. Inspect floors for cleanliness and damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
3. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while working with floor care equipment and chemicals.
4. Maintain and repair floor care equipment as needed, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
5. Assist with general cleaning duties as required, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
6. Adhere to cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain cleanliness standards.
7. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate work activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Follow company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, safety, and security.
1. Previous experience as a floor technician or Waxer preferred.
2. Knowledge of floor care techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
3. Ability to operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and waxing machines.
4. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
