Position Summary: Leads are responsible for the day-to-day Janitorial operations and activities to ensure conformance to contract requirements. Performs supervisory and routine janitorial activities at an assigned building, hospital, warehouse, shopping mall, school or other facility to maintain buildings, common areas, locker rooms and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition. Oversees inspections, quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned building. Responsible for client communication and satisfaction, working closely and directly with clients on a daily basis. 

• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor stripper, buffer and polisher, carpet shampooer, scrubbers and power blower as assigned. 
• Respond to emergency cleanups such as spills and bodily fluids. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 
• Maintain regular attendance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Good verbal communication skills
• Able to work well with all levels of employees and managers
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Ability to perform job with minimal supervision
• Regular and timely attendance
• Bilingual English/Spanish a MUST
• Minimum of (2) years managing janitorial operation and experience in a service/customer oriented environment
• Flexibility with hours and schedule
• Technical knowledge of all aspects of janitorial service delivery
• Must have a valid driver’s license. 
• Basic methods, materials, tools and equipment used in custodial work and routine maintenance. 
• Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies. 
• Proper lifting techniques. 
• Principles of training and providing work direction.  
• Use cleaning materials, equipment and methods according to predetermined standards.
• Walk, bend, lift, push and stand for extended periods of time. 
• Work cooperatively with others. 

Qualifications: 

• High School Education or equivalent 
• Previous experience in a similar capacity and environment
