A General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings, make sure buildings are closed securely.  Reports any issues, complaints to Supervisor and/or Route Manager.

The Shift Supervisor is described as the individual who is in daily contact with the Project Manager and at times, the building occupants; ensure employees maintain quality standards, safe conditions and customer satisfaction. He/She is the single point of contact for a spcified shift.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Must have knowledge of all areas of  janitorial building maintenance including carpet extraction, stripping/refinishing and waxing floors. Must have knowledge of all McLemore safety procedures as well as his/her building safety procedures. Must be capale of communicating verbally in English and be able to have basic capability to read and write. Bloodborne Pathogen training may be required. Physical requirements include standing and walking for long periods of time, and reaching, bending, kneeling, crawling, and operating equipment on occasion.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Meets daily with Project Manager to ensure client expectations are being met as well as obtain any special instructions such as meetings or special events. May communicate with customer contact as needed.

 Works with Manager to handle and inspect customer complaint and assists with follow up to make sure the situation is corrected in a timely manner.

 Performs daily inspectios on staff members and assists team members as needed to ensure scope of work is completed daily.

 Assists with new hire training and onboarding, as well as assimilation to the team.

 Works with Project Manager to ensure preventative maintenance is performed and equipment is in good working order and safe to use.

 Responible for ensuring employees are properly in uniform.

  May be a keyholder with access to buildings.

 Works with Project Manager to cinduct safty tool box meetings to ensure safe working conditions in his/her buildings as well as enforce company safety rules of conduct with the purpose of avoiding on-the-job injuries.

 Assists Project Manager with communicating to employees and enforces company rules of conduct and ensure a positive workplace enviroment.

 Reports supply ro Project Manager.

 Report any disciplinary issues to Project Manager and work together to resolve matters.

 Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.
