We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team in Wooster. This role is responsible for maintaining and restoring hard floor surfaces through stripping, waxing, buffing, and general floor care. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality results and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

20 hours weekly: Monday - Friday, 5-9pm

Pay: $ 17.00 hourly

You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to a pass drug test and background check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strip, wax, and refinish hard floor surfaces (VCT, tile, etc.)
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment (buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers)
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors
• Ensure proper use of chemicals and follow safety procedures
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues
• Follow work schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Maintain equipment in clean and working condition
• All other work, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in floor care, especially stripping and waxing, preferred
• Knowledge of floor machines and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with commercial or industrial floor care
• Knowledge of different floor types and finishes
• Basic troubleshooting of equipment
